⚠️ Why do Daily 2.3L injectors fail?
On the Iveco Daily 2.3L, injector failures are frequent and often misdiagnosed. The main problem is an injector return circuit imbalance: when the return pressure is no longer homogeneous between injectors, some operate outside their tolerance range, causing irregular combustion and rapid degradation.
🚨 Critical case - injection pump filings: when the injection pump degrades, it can send metallic filings throughout the fuel circuit. This contamination affects the injectors, the diesel hoses, the high-pressure-ramp, and can go all the way up to the tank.
