5-speed gear lever for Iveco Daily 35C 35S
Iveco Daily gear lever installation tutorial
Allow 30-40 minutes for the job. It's very easy to do!
Gearbox: A clamp multi-socket, SCREW Torx, a ratchet with a 10 cm extension, a sleeve 12 mm
Here are the important steps for changing your LEVER gear, also follow along with the photos
The photos show the replacement of a LEVER on the 2006 to 2011 generation of Daily, but the principle remains the same
1°) Start by carefully unclipping your bellows from LEVER.
2°) Remove the Torx SCREW that holds the plastic surround of the LEVER in the upper part. Then pull this plastic trim toward you to unclip it.
3°) Using a small ratchet, an extension, and a 12 mm sleeve, remove the bracket from the LEVER. I recommend placing paper or rags around the LEVER to prevent the SCREW from falling into the dashboard.
4°) To remove the two cables from the LEVER, simply press the two tabs, one in tie-rod and the other by pushing.
5°) To unclip the cables from the LEVER, lock the axle with a clamp multi-plug and make LEVER with a large flat SCREW screwdriver.
And that's it! All you have to do now is reverse the process to reassemble it!
If, after replacing your LEVER gear shift, there is still play in the LEVER, you will need to replace the gear cables.
