This cab floor mat is the rubber covering that spans the entire front floor of the Iveco Daily, from the pedal area to the base of the seats. It protects the metal floor from water, mud, and salt tracked in by shoes, and reduces road noise from entering the cab. It’s also the surface the driver constantly rests on, particularly with their heel when shifting gears. Once punctured, it no longer protects the floor and allows moisture to accumulate beneath the mat.
This is the original Iveco floor mat, part number 5801548139, cut to fit the cab of the Daily starting with the MY2016 model year. It fits exactly where the old mat was and is compatible with the MY2016, MY2019, MY2022, and MY2024 model years. For the Daily S2000, MY2009, and MY2012 models, select part number 5801256225.

Wear is almost always concentrated under the driver’s heels, in front of the pedals. Every time you shift gears, your heel rotates on the rubber, which wears down until it punctures and leaves a clearly visible hole. Other warning signs include: a floor mat that is peeling at the edges, cracking, or retaining water after washing the cab. If the metal sheet is visible at the bottom of the hole, it’s best to take action before corrosion spreads to the floor.

Tips
Replacement requires removing the seats and the plastic trim pieces that hold the floor covering in place around the edges of the floor. Once the old carpet is removed, thoroughly clean the floor and use compressed air to blow out any dust, gravel, and dirt lodged in the crevices. This is a good time to check the condition of the metal and treat any rust spots. The new carpet is then laid exactly where the old one was, before reinstalling the trim and seats.

Since the plastic trim pieces are removed to change the carpet, take this opportunity to replace the front half-moon trim pieces. These black trim pieces cover the inner wheel well, extending from the running board, and run up toward the dashboard. Often scratched or broken at the mounting points on a well-used commercial vehicle, they should be replaced at the same time as the floor covering: the front left half-moon for the Iveco Daily on the driver’s side and the front right half-moon for the Iveco Daily on the passenger side. To protect the new carpet where it wears out the most, place an optional PVC mat for the Iveco Daily on top of it; this mat absorbs the friction from heels and can be replaced at a much lower cost.
