Description
⚙️ Electric PTO Actuator Iveco Daily – Instant activation of auxiliary equipment
🔧 What is this part for?
The electric power take-off (PTO) actuator is the component that controls engagement and disengagement of the power take-off on the gearbox. It provides the interface between the control switch in the cab and the power take-off engagement mechanism. When the driver activates the PTO switch, the electromagnetic 12V actuator instantly engages the power take-off, allowing an auxiliary device to be driven — hydraulic pump, tipper body, crane, compressor, or hydraulic unit. Without a functional actuator, the power take-off remains inactive and onboard equipment cannot operate.
This actuator is supplied in new condition. It is compatible with Iveco Daily vehicles equipped with ZF 5S200 and 6S300 gearboxes from Euro 3 to Euro 6, and directly replaces references IVE42577265 and 194KES5E212. In case of switch failure, it can be manually engaged using a screwdriver on the actuator head.

✅ Why replace this part?
✅ A failed actuator prevents any power take-off engagement, rendering all vehicle auxiliary equipment inoperable (tipper, crane, compressor, hydraulic unit).
✅ A worn actuator may cause random or incomplete PTO engagement, generating jolts and premature wear of power take-off gears.
✅ Replacement with a new actuator restores reliable, instant, and safe activation of the power transmission.
✅ Wear / failure / replacement symptoms
Signs of a failing electric actuator on Iveco Daily include a power take-off that does not engage despite switch activation, intermittent or partial PTO engagement, unusual noise during activation, or a PTO fault light on the dashboard. A simple test is to attempt manual engagement using a screwdriver on the actuator head — if the PTO engages manually but not electrically, the actuator is at fault. Also check electrical power supply and wiring before concluding.
✅ Fitting advice
Disconnect the battery before any work on the electrical circuit. The actuator mounts directly on the gearbox as a replacement for the old unit with no modification required. Check the electrical connection and the condition of wiring and the cab control switch. After installation, test power take-off engagement and disengagement with the engine running before returning the vehicle to service. Fitting by a qualified professional is recommended.
✅ RAXOR Parts technical advice
When replacing the electric PTO actuator, systematically check the condition of the PTO control switch in the cab and the power supply wiring — these are the two other frequent causes of system engagement failure. If your vehicle does not yet have a power take-off, find all available Iveco Daily gearboxes and related parts on RAXOR Parts to complete your transmission system.
