⚙️ Iveco Daily 35C Dual Wheel Rear Hub – Supplied with studs, direct fitting
🔧 What is this part for?
The rear wheel hub connects the rear axle to the brake disc and wheel assembly. Mounted on the wheel bearing, it receives the torque transmitted by the wheel shaft and transfers it to the dual wheels via the studs. On a Daily 35C, it constantly bears the weight of the loaded vehicle, braking forces and lateral stresses when cornering. A deformed, cracked hub or one with damaged studs prevents proper wheel tightening and directly compromises road handling.
This new compatible hub is supplied equipped with its wheel studs, ready to receive the disc and dual wheels. It is sold individually, without wheel bearing and without wheel nuts, which must be ordered separately. Compatible with Iveco reference 7180049, it can be fitted on either the left or right side and replaces the original part without modification on Iveco Daily 35C in dual wheel version, from Daily III generation to the current generation.

✅ Why replace this part?
✅ A pulled, bent or damaged thread stud no longer allows reliable tightening of dual wheels, with a real risk of loosening under load.
✅ A marked or oval hub bearing surface causes the bearing to work at an angle and causes disc runout, braking vibrations and accelerated pad wear.
✅ A new hub with mounted studs restores a sound foundation for the bearing, disc and wheels, and avoids removing studs one by one.
✅ Wear / failure / replacement symptoms
Hub replacement is most often necessary after a bearing failure due to overheating or damage to the bearing surface, when stud replacement becomes impossible, or following wheel loosening that has enlarged the holes. While driving, you may notice vibrations when braking despite new discs, rumbling near the rear wheel or a wheel that won't stay tight. In the workshop, inspection is done with the wheel removed: condition of threads, bearing surface, flatness of the disc bearing face. A hub showing signs of bluing, cracks or visible runout should not be reused.
✅ Fitting advice
Since the rear wheel bearing is not included, plan to order it with the hub: a new bearing mounted on a sound surface is the key to a reliable assembly. Carefully clean the disc bearing surface and centering to remove rust and deposits, otherwise the disc may warp. Replace the rear hub nut and strictly follow the manufacturer's torque specifications for both the hub nut and wheel nuts. After a few dozen kilometres, checking the tightness of the dual wheels is strongly recommended. Professional fitting by a heavy-duty or commercial vehicle mechanic is advised.
✅ Technical advice from RAXOR Parts
On a Daily 35C, the hub, bearing and rear disc work together: replacing one without checking the others often means redoing the job later. Order the Iveco Daily rear wheel bearing at the same time as the hub, along with the hub nut and associated seals. Take the opportunity during disassembly to check the thickness and flatness of the Iveco Daily rear brake discs. If the bearing failed due to an axle oil leak, also inspect the wheel shaft seals and the condition of the complete Iveco Daily rear axle.
