•  Unscrew and remove all the fasteners from your damaged mirror. Do this carefully

• Using the marker, mark the position of the new wing mirror. Use the traces of glue left by the old wing mirror to help you.

• Using the blade, gently scrape away any remaining adhesive from your car’s windscreen. Be careful not to scratch the glass by pressing too hard.

• Remove the mirror base, then start scraping again with the blade to remove any traces of adhesive. Once the adhesive has been removed, clean the surface where the new mirror will be fitted on your Iveco Daily with a wipe. Leave to dry.

• Position the new base. Use adhesive tape to mark its position. Remove the base. 

• Coat the surface with special adhesive and replace the Iveco mirror housing. Allow plenty of time for it to dry before removing the adhesive tape.

• On the outside, remove the adhesive tape and any marker marks.  

• Inside, attach the new mirror. 

• For mechanical mirrors: refit the knob. 

• For electric mirrors, plug in the connector.

• Refit the mirror on your Iveco Daily. You’re done!

How do you change an Iveco Daily wing mirror? 

There are two scenarios:

• Replacing the mirror glass.

• Replacing the entire mirror.

Pivot the mirror away from the mechanism to access the closing spring. Remove it. Take care with the cables. Keep the spring safe. It is not always supplied with the replacement mirror.

Replace the spring on your new panel by clipping it back into place.
Reposition the panel inside the mirror housing. Press gently so as not to damage anything. Move it around to ensure it is correctly positioned.

To replace a window with a tongue-and-groove locking mechanism.

This is the easiest system to replace!
Remove the glass by prying it loose with a plastic spatula. Metal against glass is never a good idea, especially when the operation requires a bit of force.
Replace the old glass with a new one in the same way, pressing it back into place with a bit of firm pressure.

Of course, check that the wing mirror is properly secured by moving it around.
