Steps for replacing the LEVER gear
Required tools
- Multi-grip pliers
- Torx screwdriver
- Ratchet with 10 cm extension
- 12 mm socket
Detailed procedure
- Unclip the bellows from LEVER: Remove it carefully to avoid damage.
- Remove the plastic trim: Remove the SCREW Torx securing the upper surround, then gently unclip the plastic in tie-rod.
- Remove the bracket from the LEVER: Use the ratchet, extension, and 12 mm sleeve. To avoid losing the SCREW in the dashboard, place rags or paper around the LEVER.
- Disconnect the cables: Press the tabs (one in tie-rod, the other by pushing) to remove the cables from the LEVER.
- Unclip the cables from the LEVER: Lock the axle with a clamp multi-socket, then use a large flatSCREW flat screwdriver to make LEVER.
Once the LEVER has been removed, reinstall the new one by following the steps in reverse order.
