🛠️ Installation tutorial – Changing your front discs and pads
🔧 Tools required:
- Allen keys
- Ratchet with extension
- 17/24/27 mm sockets
- Hammer
- Flat wrench
- Push-piston or clamp-GASKET
- Wire brush
🚗 Replacement steps:
1️⃣ Remove the front wheels using a 27 mm sleeve after lifting and securing the vehicle with jack stands.
2️⃣ Remove the front hub with a 17 mm sleeve.
3️⃣ Remove the CAPs from the sliders and remove the SCREW slide pins to remove the caliper.
4️⃣ Remove the brackets from the calipers from the rear using a 24 mm sleeve.
5️⃣ Remove the disc by tapping it with a hammer to loosen it, then clean the surface with a wire brush and a bellowste.
6️⃣ Degrease the new disc with brake cleaner.
7️⃣ Install the new disc and reassemble the hub.
8️⃣ Clean the caliper pads and install the new brake pads. PLATEts.
9️⃣ Reassembly of the bracket caliper with the sleeve 24 mm.
🔟 Insertion of the PLATEs into the bracket.
1️⃣1️⃣ Push back the pistons of the stirrups with a GASKET clamp or apiston.
1️⃣2️⃣ Check the caliper slides and replace them if necessary.
1️⃣3️⃣ Install the wear indicator and reassemble the caliper with the SCREW slides.
1️⃣4️⃣ Replace the CAPs.
🚨 Before driving, press the brake pedal several times until it hardens to properly reposition the pistons of the caliper.
